There’s an old adage in the bar business — get women into your bar and the men will follow. Any smart bar marketing plan includes a plan for attracting women.
And it makes sense doesn’t it? But how do you actually do it?
On this episode of Bar Owner TV, I talk to Louie La Vella, who runs La Vella Marketing. Louie knows the bar and nightclub business really well — he and I share three keys to successfully drawing women to your bar.
Here’s what you’ll learn by watching this interview:
- What are the three most important keys to getting women into my bar?
- How can I make 100% sure my ladies’ night works?
- What do women really care about besides the music and drink specials?
- Are there certain promotions that will guarantee women show up?
- Is there a way to target your marketing directly at women?
Ladies’ nights and bachelorette parties are the obvious idea bars gravitate towards, right? But there’s more you can do with your bar marketing to make sure your bar attracts and keeps women coming back.
Listen to this interview and you’ll get answers to the questions above, my promotion idea for a “Ladies’ Lock-up Night,” and another fresh idea from Louie. If you’ve got some additional ideas you want to share or have questions, use the comment box below to post publicly or my contact form to get in touch directly.
And don’t forget:
In my new LRVO bar marketing and promotional formula video series and report, I get into more detail about how to get new customers in your doors, how to create offers that make you unbeatable in your market, how Facebook advertising is your most lucrative marketing media, and how to put all this into action so you start making more money.
I’m about to open a bar/dance club and I’m trying to target college students but I take what I can get haha. What would you recommend on what to offer to get them in the door and any other suggestions that you have I would really appreciated. Thank you for your time.
These are awesome ideas. We have the free wells all night from 9-1 but our issue is that we struggle to 1.) make sales to even cover the $300 DJ (that is awesome by the way) and our market is rather rough 2.) Getting guys to come!
Jessica,
I can see why you are struggling to make sales when you’re giving away free drinks. that’s a tough business model. If you’d like a little help I will throw you a free 30 min consultation if you’d like. I hate when I hear owners think they have to giveaway the bar to get customers in the door. It doesn’t have to and shouldn’t be that way. What you need is a better game plan and a way to bring in customers that have money to spend. Send me an e-mail to Nick@barrestaurantSuccess.com and let me know if you need some help. Have a great Thanksgiving if I don’t hear from you.
