#1 Football Bar & Restaurant Promotion

NFL football is almost here and football fans love going out to spend their money cheering on their favorite teams. And in this video, I’m going to give you what I believe to be the number one bar and restaurant football promotion to pack your Monday and Thursday nights. Football Sunday is usually packed for some bars on Sunday but Monday nights and Thursdays may not be as busy.

Today I’m going to give you what I call a “Lead Capture” promotion that you can run to build a customer list of loyal football fans. Why do you need a list of loyal football fans? So you have the perfect audience to market to pack your Monday and Thursday nights. And if you could use some more business on Sundays, this promotion is perfect.

Before I get into the nuts and bolts of this promotion, let me explain real quick what a lead capture promotion is. It’s a promotion where you’re getting people to hand over their personal contact information in your business or online in exchange for some kind of valuable offer. Meaning an offer that will benefit them.

The main reason I’m able to get a great return on my marketing dollars is because I do everything I can in my power to exclude marketing to people who have no interest in the promotion I’m running.

That’s why I run so many different lead capture promotions. I do this to segment my list of customers based on their interests. With that said, If I want to pick up business for football on a Thurs or Monday night, my best prospects to contact are people who enjoy NFL football right? So my goal is to build a list of these customers to send them offers to get them in on that night.

Here’s How You Do This….

Come up with an offer that is good ONLY during an NFL game. For example, you could run a promotion where you offer 20% off their tab during any NFL game for the first 2 weeks of football. If you’re already slammed on Sundays, then make this good only on Monday or Thurs.

In order for people to get this offer, you have to deliver the certificate or coupon to them. And guess what? You can’t do that without an email address or mailing address if you’re sending it out by direct mail, or maybe a cell number if you’re sending this offer to them by text.

So if the offer is valuable enough, you’ll have no problem getting this information because they want your valuable offer. The goal here is to get 200-500 people to sign up for this and that’s pretty simple to do when you’re using your staff and Facebook ads that are targeted to people who like NFL football. So think about this.

It’s 4 weeks, 8 weeks into the season, Thursday nights are slower, Mondays you’re really slow. What to do? You use that list of customers you captured who signed up for your football offer in the first 2 weeks and you drive them back in with some other kind of offer or promotional giveaway.

This is how you get 10% or 20% responses to your offers. Screw the newspaper and radio. There is nothing more profitable than a list of customers who have a specific interest in what you have to offer them.

If you feel this is smarter, more profitable way to attract and retain new paying customers for your promotions, if you’d like to get Nick’s personal help designing promotions and marketing strategies specific to your business, click here.
