Think about it. You can now for a few bucks a month, even free, listen to your favorite music without any ads.
You can now get your local paper in the form of a app and get ONLY the articles that you wish to read without a bunch of promotions around it.
You can now record your favorite shows when your busy running errands and come back and watch them and fast forward through the commercials. I can go on and on but I’m sure you see the point.
Consumers are now finding endless ways to cut out all the promotional clutter. Think about when your watching tv or listening to the radio, don’t you get annoyed with all the ads and if you could, you’d rather just get the entertainment or news that your watching or listening to?
What’s going to happen a few years from now? What’s going to happen 10 years from now? Have you ever thought about this? If people are switching to programs and apps that cut out the marketing clutter, how are you going to reach new customers into your doors?
